PROJECT 1

Week 3

11 Sept 2020

We were given a choice of 7 different scenarios and we needed to choose 1 scenario and create an audio story around it. I chose the second scenario Wildlife+ background. We had to first create a story that will be used as a reference when creating the sound design.

2. Wildlife + Background 

A man walks down beside a river listening to the birds chirping. He sits down on the side and throws a fishing line into the water While enjoying nature he hears heavy breathing behind him. He turns around and sees a bear standing nearby growling and looking at him. He looks at the bear scared as the bear roars at him. The man slowly gets up and starts running.

Week 4

I started collecting my resources and arranging them to create my story. Here is the first draft of my story.

Mr. Rzaif said the overall story was good but some of the sounds were clipping. also, he suggested o add more pan to some of the sounds to give a sense of direction and movement.

Week 5 

 

After Mr. Razif's feedback, I went and made the necessary changes to fix the issues that Mr. Razif pointed out. 

Mr. Razif noticed that still some of the bear sounds wear not clear and could be improved. He asked to EQ some of the footsteps as well to add more weight to the sounds.
