Today's lecture was about theme and character. We were told of the importance of a theme in a great story. we watched a video on how to create stories using the question " What if". This method helps to improve the imagination and explore new angles to develop the story.

We were to choose 1 Movie by the animator " Hayao Miyazaki" and study the film. How exercise was to write about

• What are Miyazaki's 3 recurring themes?
• Pick a Mizayaki film and analyze the story's theme and how the protagonist's journey is told in relation to the theme.

I chose the movie " Howls Moving Castle"
